For anyone who was an active topics user on old board, I think I've managed to do stream settings that replicate the old active topic view pretty well. Supposedly this link should work for anyone then you can save it as your own default (will show up when you click the newspaper-y icon)

Nice! Like I've said, that tool is really useful for a variety of things and now that icons are working again, it should be quite a bit easier to use.

Yep it's pretty snazzy, and I've been playing around with alternate settings (for instance you can make only unread appear which people may or may not like). 

What I haven't figured out is if there is an quicker way to switch between streams other than default. Is it just "menu bar - > activity - > my activity streams"?

Yeah, I've never cared for how it switches streams. I'm going to add this to my ticket list of things to look at in the future and figure out if there's a better way to do it.

What’s the best way to get to the last unread post in a thread? I’ve been clicking on the “x minutes ago” and it takes me to the last message, but bypasses the last message I would have read.

Clicking the thread title itself should do that as the default behavior I think.

If clicking the title doesn't work - that's the default so it should - you can change how that operates here:

Also if you have more than one unread topic in a forum, there is a 'next unread topic' link at the bottom that takes you to the first unread post in the next topic.
