That's not necessarily dispositive. My wife is a practicing lawyer and she never graduated high school. So I don't see why a 12 year old couldn't practice the law, barring some sort of state statute which I refuse to look up.

I always thought the creation of the insiders forum was to have game threads without a super hormonal teenage posting a stream of consciousness during every single game. I remember there being insiders game threads in 03 and 04.

 

Also CT is actually a cool dude now. He'd fit in quite well in the politics thread. He also offered me a ticket at face value for Game 6 of the 2016 NLCS and I turned him down because I didn't want to spend $250 to watch Kershaw potentially shut down the Cubs. I am a complete moron, though I enjoyed watching the game at a bar down the street with soccer

- I wanted to have a place to reward many members of the site with a perk

- I wanted to have a place to get feedback from those same members on the direction of the site

- A place for calmer and more rational discussion once in a while

Kind of, I guess? I just wanted to get a feel for the community and that's easier to do if I'm registered and commenting. And I created that account quite some time ago, like maybe over a year ago?

 

Just happened to remember some posts from you recently. My mind is weird like that and noticed a different name popping up, then when you posted about it here I wondered. Totally makes sense that you'd want to truly participate and get a feel before fully taking the plunge on a purchase with all the work that will seemingly go into the site moving forward.
