Absolutely gut-wrenching. That Editors Note at the bottom... after reading that piece... Just devastating.

And to think that he was injured on what should have been a totally harmless play, a fair catch, during pretty much a blowout loss, as a defender was pushed into him by his own teammate.

I know it would take a complete disaster for Peterman to see any time on the field but geez I can't believe that dude is still in the NFL, he was the mockery of the entire league when he was on the Bills. Kaepernick is 10x better than that dude.

I rather Bears just sign one of these guys instead of going after guys on practice squad or were injured or whatever. At least the guys below were actually productive at one point. Enough with going on "potential" or guys who hasn't had their shots yet. There's a reason why these guys were where they're at in their career that the Bears have been signing and I'm not just talking about WRs here either. We got enough of those guys already and now the time to add some vets here and there. They're going to be 1 year deals anyway. Hopefully Poles will be doing that after June 1st. A lot of these guys in FA can't be asking much $$$ by now so there's value to be had.

Biggs hinted the other day Poles may not add anything else major at WR. Or elsewhere.

Will someone please put Ryan Willis on suicide watch? When you are deemed less valuable than Nathan Peterman...well, what is there to live for?

Week 18 again vs Vikings last game of season. Not sure if home or away

I just noticed the Fire are playing at Soldier Field on 9/10 at night so probably first two games are road games.

How it that even a thing? Bye weeks should be contained entirely between weeks 6-12 (ish)

4 of last 5 games at home.

4 of the last 5 at home in the most miserable part of the season weather-wise and after the season will likely be all but over. Bye in Week 14 when its to late to do us any good is strange too.

Still a very easy schedule most likely but the way it is configured is possibly the hardest you can make it on the Bears. At least they get that mini-bye with the TNF game followed by MNF

The meat heads will think it’s great because of the mythic advantage of “Bears weather” that hasn’t actually been an advantage
