Do not think they'll be able to move the ball in such a manner against U of M, they'll score for sure, however, not in such a hot knife through butter manner.

I think Michigan is going to make it a closer game this year for various reasons. But OSUs talent will pull away in the end

It will tough to keep it close imo. Yes they have 2 elite pass rushers to keep Ohio State in 2nd and 3rd and longs but as you’ve seen today Ohio State can get out of those situations in a hurry and Michigan overall has been relatively bad at getting off the field on 3rd and long this year (relatively speaking).

Their only shot to keep is close is if they manage to control the flow of the game with their running game and they get turnover luck (+2 or better)

At Michigan, big rival. Michigan will score some I think Michigan ends up "controlling" the OSU passing attack for a bit. I think its going to be Henderson who has a huge game.

We’ll see. “Keeping to close because it’s a rivalry game” hasn’t been a thing since 2013. 2016 they were actually close in talent. 2017 Michigan was up 14-0 but I believe OSU were blowing them out and in complete control not long after. Everything else has been a blowout that was over early.

Officials are blatantly making calls in favor of Alabama right now. It's amazingly bad. Way worse than usual.

I haven't been watching so I can't speak to this, but as long as the same conferences with financial stakes in a certain outcome of a game are paying the people officiating that same game, they deserve every bit of skepticism they get.

Now starts the week where I say “we’re not going to win but everything is still on the line so maybe we’ll get lucky and it will happen”

SEC offices are in Birmingham, so…

Well cross the Pac 12 out of the playoff picture.

Huge help for Cincinnati, Notre Dame and 2 loss Alabama. Keeps Oklahoma State/Oklahoma winner alive too but would need chaos.

But screw it lets have chaos:

-Alabama loses to Auburn and Georgia

-Cincinnati loses to Houston

-Michigan beats OSU (lol) and then loses to Wisconsin

-OK State beats OU and then loses to them next week in B12 championship game

Who the heck besides Georgia and Notre Dame get in? Ohio State and Houston? Lol

The winner of the Big 12 probably gets in depending on the scores (like if Oklahoma gets hammered next week and wins by 3 the week after, they might not get in). Then Ohio State I guess. Or Michigan still since they beat OSU.

There's seriously a dude named Bumper Pool on Arkansas?

Yep, he’s pretty good too. Very proud of Arkansas yesterday, but there’s no way BAMA is the second best team in the country. Georgia will torch them.

Georgia vs OSU is the only title game that makes sense. I hope Cincy gets in just because screw the Power 5, but they’re going to get torched by whoever they play.

I would be surprised if Alabama was ahead of OSU this week

Mullen fired just a year after playing in the SEC Championship game. That team has entirely quit on him.

Mullen may be (definitely is) a clown, but he's done nothing but have good or great teams relative to expectations in the SEC for a decade and he gets fired after one bad year. Some college football programs are completely insane.

His issue is that he’s not a very dynamic recruiter due to him being awkward as fvck, but he is an elite football mind. And in the college game I think you’d rather have the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s instead of the X’s and O’s, just look at Georgia. Speaking of which, this is why Mullen ultimately isn’t a good fit moving forward due to how Kirby is recruiting at Georgia.

Cristobal would be a home run there but the rumor right now is that they are going after Napier, whom I also think would be a great hire for him.

Man, Napier is impressive. There’s going to be a lot of pissed off south Louisiana people if he goes to Florida after LSU doesn’t offer him a job.

Possible, but they'd need to get into the Big Ten championship game of course which I believe they need some help to do.

Even then their 2nd best win (with OSU/Mich being the 1st) would be at home against Penn State.

I guess technically they have two top 10 wins, but both Iowa St and Penn St have really ranked since Iowa played them. Looking at their schedule, their best wins are home against 7-4 Penn St and Minnesota teams.

Goes to show even in a P5 conference, you can put up a pretty gaudy record without ever really beating anyone.

This is something I have very little experience with as an Illinois fan.
