Nothing much new or crazy in the CFP rankings. Mississippi State jumped back in after beating Arkansas because the committee is absolutely hell-bent on making sure Alabama has more than one ranked win, but whatever.

I think you mean Auburn, not Arkansas, but I agree with your point on the committee.

Someone please make a case for Sparty to beat Ohio State. I really do not want to see them in the CFP this year.

UAB over UTSA

Memphis over Houston

Clemson over Wake

SMU/Cincy may be a close one.

I was going to say it would be so Michigan to lose the game before Ohio State with everything on the line, but it's not. So Michigan is going into the Ohio State game with everything on the line and talking yourself into believing there's a chance and then getting walloped.

The worst was a couple years ago when the week before the game Ohio State was one late 2 point conversion away from losing to Maryland and allowing Michigan to clinch a trip to Indy (Michigan was 8-0 going into the game, Ohio State would have been 6-2). Even though OSU won, we deluded ourselves into believing we were going to win. Michigan was favored, it was at home, we had won 10 in a row since losing to ND in the opener. And we got absolutely obliterated 62-39. horsefeathers I hate this rivalry.

Isn't So Michigan getting to 4 losses?

Hey now, Michigan has avoided 4+ losses in 4 of Harbaugh's 7 seasons (assuming they don't lose out this year which I guess isn't out of the question). But 3 losses would cover all of Harbaugh's seasons, assuming they lose to OSU and the bowl game

Spartys ability to run the aĺ effectively can leave OSUs offense on the sidelines. But our pass defense is very shaky.

Can’t wait to turn on that exciting meaningful game between number 7 and number 4 teams an- oh it’s 21-0 in the 1st quarter. Gotta love parity.

Also I’m happy to use my 7 full days of being able to make fun of this

Edit: and yes making fun of Michigan State looks foolish after losing to Sparty but I’m a battered Michigan fan, I’ll take my wins where I can get them

The entire rankings show on Tuesday might be Gary Barta smirking about ranking Michigan ahead of MSU the last 2 weeks

I knew the Spartans really had no chance of stopping the Buckeyes hell, they couldn't contain Purdue, even the lowly Illini held the Boilermakers down and probably should have won that game. But, I did believe the Spartans would score some points.

Well let’s see how Michigan’s game at Maryland goes first lol

How about Ryan Day as a potential replacement for Nagy? Is that too far out there?

I’d take a wet fart in a turtleneck over Nagy so sure. Let’s give Day a shot.

Did Mel Tucker throw a week long party for his team to celebrate the new contract? Holy hell.

400+ yards of total offense thus far, really, what was the point of the Spartans punting? OSU is just going to take it and score again, where they start a possession doesn't matter. What not try to get a first down simply to keep the ball away from the OSU offense?

If I'm not mistaken OSU has scored on every possession.

7 for 7

Do not think they'll be able to move the ball in such a manner against U of M, they'll score for sure, however, not in such a hot knife through butter manner.

:beg:

6 first half TD's for a freshman QB.

No one besides OSU is ever winning the Big Ten East ever again

And they have two 5 star recruits as back ups

I think Michigan is going to make it a closer game this year for various reasons. But OSUs talent will pull away in the end

Who will transfer to the SEC because they won't start, but will be replaced by two more next year

It will tough to keep it close imo. Yes they have 2 elite pass rushers to keep Ohio State in 2nd and 3rd and longs but as you’ve seen today Ohio State can get out of those situations in a hurry and Michigan overall has been relatively bad at getting off the field on 3rd and long this year (relatively speaking).

Their only shot to keep is close is if they manage to control the flow of the game with their running game and they get turnover luck (+2 or better)
