Well, the C0bs stunk up the joint for 8 innings last night and then decided to let St. Loo implode. This is the first time since I joined in 2003 (or was it 2004?) that I"ve started back-to-back game threads. Hell, this year I"ve stared more than all the other years combined. Whatever.

Kyle vs the husk of Wainwright.

I don't know what to expect other than that Kyle will find a way to go six innings, four hits, and one run.

Lol @ Ross letting Hendricks bat here. He’s clearly out of gas.

And would you look at that

I mean, that inning turned to what it did because of a swinging bunt combined with an error that put a runner on second. I’m not putting that one on Ross.

He gave up 3 warning track shots in the 6th. It was obviously the end of the line. I get he’s earned a ton of leash with the run he’s been on, but it was an obvious pinch hit spot in his last AB.

Right. That wasn't a "Hendricks was out of gas" result. I wouldn't have sent him back out, but I'm not going to blame Ross for what happened.

The PH spot is a fair criticism. I could go either way on that one.

Fair enough, I’m not watching. I just saw Schwarber Fan’s post and then the score immediately after.

I don't love the idea of Kimbrel pitching in 3 straight games right now.

Yeah. His velo on his last fastball was 94.8. I don't remember seeing him below 95 since he was a mess in 2019. I'd keep him out until at least Sunday at this point.

He didn't pitch on Monday. Second straight day. Before yesterday, he pitched on Saturday.
