Am I wrong or does last night ensure that we'll end the season with winning records against each of the Dodgers, Padres, and Mets?

I don't think H2H results mean a ton, but it's more reassuring than if our record was built on being like 14-1 against the Pirates and well under against everyone else.

Yes, it does, and yes, they don't.

But as mentioned earlier, if we could somehow get to 4 wins in these 10 games, that's a solid run, keeps us near the top of the division, and probably eliminates any chance of a sell off in the next month or so. So now it's just 3 out of the next 9. Then 7 at home against two struggling teams with bad road records, the ASB, and it lightens up a lot from there in the second half.

KImbrel was overthrowing to the first batter. A knucklecurve with virtually no movement followed by 3 fastballs. All 4 pitches were high, not even close.

Lol Kimbrel said he had no idea it was a no hitter until 2 outs in the 9th

Should probably bench him for not having knowing the game situation.

by my calculations that was already guaranteed

Mets: 4-3

Padres: 5-1

Dodgers: 4-0

13-4, worst case scenario is 13-7

I assume he meant each of the teams individually. Cubs were 3-0 against LA before yesterday with 4 games left.

Yeah, that's what I was going for. I like to see that we're competitive against the relevant teams on the schedule. We got worked by the Braves and the Giants (though haven't seen the Giants at Wrigley yet), and TBD against the White Sox, but that's have really stood up to all the other good teams on the schedule.

Which means there's no way in hell he did NOT know he was coming into a no-hitter, as he was extra amped in a 4-0 game.

By his reaction to the final out it sure didn't seem like he knew. I believe the pen. There were a lot of baserunners so if they weren't paying close attention (as has been said you can't see the scoreboard from the pen) I could see how they didn't realize what was happening.
