The Cubs on Friday placed catcher P.J. Higgins on the 10-day injured list due to a forearm strain and selected the contract of backstop Jose Lobaton in his place. In order to clear roster space for the well-traveled Lobaton, Chicago designated right-hander Dakota Chalmers for assignment.

I wonder what Koyie Hill's up to these days.

I'd kill for Paul Bako's career .623 OPS these days.

Even better, is Hank White still a coach on the cubs? Just throw him on the active roster and see what happens.

Good move, Chironos had a .976 OPS including .422 OBP for the Yankees’ AAA squad

With Grandal out, does Chironos become trade bait?

Ya gotta wonder, that’s for sure

The WS should be interested in a Joc and Chironos package to put a band-aide on some of their temporary injuries.
