Feel like all active sports are going to have to come to a decision on whether to pause their seasons for a couple of weeks or change the restrictions to let vaccinated players play. Omicron is going to get a lot more worse before it gets better in terms of number of infections.

Blackhawks are calling up their only prospect to be on the taxi squad. It seems like a weird decision on the surface; either call him up and let him play or keep him in the minors. Part of the taxi squad thing allows you to do keep the salary off the cap for a couple games, so maybe they just want to give him a taste?

 

I don't know, but there will be a very long time before they call up another highly touted prospect.
