Bears playoff scenarios

Win 2

Win tomorrow, Lose vs Packers. Arizona loses vs LA Rams next week

If the Rams lose tomorrow and the Bears win, they can get the 6th seed if the Cards beat the Rams.

I don't think the Bears can get the 6th spot because non-division wild card ties go to the head-to-head matchup which the Rams have

Wouldnt it be a 3 way tie with Arizona at that point? I’m not saying your wrong but that could be a factor?

Ah, you're right. Must be it.

This is going to sound so negative but it would be so Bears to stink it up tomorrow. I’m just going to wait for the results of that game first. It’s a tough game for AZ next week though, more so if Murray is hampered in some way.
I shouldn't have faith in this team, but I don't see it. Robinson is out for them. Minshew could give them trouble, but don't see it with Glennon starting. I'll be slightly disappointed if they win by single digits.

Right? They need to route the Jags for me to feel comfortable going back to Soldier field. Well, as comfortable as I might possible be flying directly into the sun

This team will horsefeathers it up against the Packers after annihilating the Jags. It's destiny.

Won’t matter if the Cardinals lose to the Rams, which they will if they play anything like they did today.

Was just thinking about Week 17 flex if the Bears win tomorrow. There’s a chance that the game is meaningless for both teams (if the Cardinals lose week 17 and the Packers clinch the number 1 seed) so not sure if NBC would pick that.

An interesting scenario is if WFT loses to Carolina, Giants lose to Ravens and Eagles beat the Cowboys tomorrow. That would make week 17’s WFT/Philly game a win and in for both teams. Even with their ugly ass records, that’s probably the game NBC wants to see flexed.

It’s also very possible the Cardinals and Rams gets the nod. If the Bears win tomorrow and the Rams lose to Seattle tomorrow, then the Rams/Cardinals game is a guaranteed win and in game for Arizona regardless of how the Bears do vs GB. Confusing scenario but here’s why:

If Bears beat Packers:

-Then Rams/Cardinals becomes a win and in for both teams with the loser eliminated.

If the Bears lose to the Packers:

-Then the Rams clinch but the Cardinals will need to win to get in

So I would say Bears Packers is at least the 3rd most likely game to be flexed

Umm thanks Kittle. Feel free to sign here whenever

Would be fun to show that to Steve Smith, who acted like the entire sports world was going to drown in a pool of depression that CHI might get in over AZ.

Can't blame him. I'd rather watch Kyler Murray and Hopkins than the crap the Bears run out there too.

Nevermind the fact that Murray was so bad yesterday he put my fantasy championship in question (he had help) even after all the awesome Kamara did for me.

Scores on back to back drives to open the game is a first. Should've been 7 instead of 3 this time. Robinson has to catch that inbounds

Am I imagining things or was there a post recently about how Leno has been the 3rd best run blocking OT over the past month or so? I can’t seem to find it now.

Can't ever have nice things man. Defense no offense. Now got an offense and the defense is ass

Glennon today just further proves to me that a sizable part of our QB woes over the years is horrible coaching. Whether it’s terrible scheming, poor OLine play, whatever the case may be, Glennon isn’t a different guy. He just sucked horribly with the Bears but looks serviceable on a 1-13 team.

I turned it on for the kickoff at 10-3. Watched them march straight down the field and then the bears go three and out.

Maybe but it would be good to see how his play is affected if the Bears managed to get within 5 feet of him

glennon looked fine at times on the bears too

there isn't some magical affliction that gets coaches and quarterbacks to suddenly forget how to do their jobs here. bad quarterbacks are easy to find. good ones are hard to find. the bears have had lots of bad ones, and mike glennon is one of them.
