I like Donovan, but him riding the hot line-up for really long stretches is getting annoying. Especially when your two all-stars are on the bench the entire time.

Couldn't watch - did Zach look healthy or should he be sitting games they're unlikely to win anyways?

I thought he looked the best he has in the last few games. But, he's still not shooting the ball well. Hard to know if the ankle is a factor in that or not.

It’s not like Lauri and Coby were doing anything other than, maybe, providing space. Thad was just doing work.

the bulls/cubs/blackhawks/bears are all in this weird purgatory. it's so frustrating. either win or tank. stop being boring idiots.

Weird take when they just traded 2 FRPs for an all star to try to win. Turning over 1/3 of your rotation at once while facing the toughest part of your schedule with no practice time and a hobbled Lavine is going to cause things to take a little longer to turn around than we’d all like.

I'm happy with the trade and 45-50 wins will be relatively fun, but they're still in nba purgatory unless they lure a superstar.

So you’d rather purposely lose for several years to try to improve your odds to win the lottery in a year that happens to have a generational talent? And even then, maybe end up as the 76ers?

I don’t know. The NBA is just so difficult to position yourself to really have a chance to win a ship. It obviously has to do more with the inherent issues that plague the NBA (max salary, buyouts, etc.) than the Bulls, or most other teams, not trying their best to win. All that said, I think your best shot is to hope Lavine can develop into a superstar or hope a superstar wants to force their way here to play with 2 other Allstar quality players.

That’s a great way to snap the losing streak!

No Harden or KD but they still had Irving, Griffin and Aldridge so good win

I think we may have found a closing lineup.

Sato, Zac, TBJ, PW, Vuc. I like it as long as TBJ can hit open 3s well enough. If not, maybe Temple when he’s back, even though he’s been struggling the last month+ and I’m personally not a big fan of his. It’s a nice mix on offense with 4 guys who can make shots surrounding Vuc and some size and athleticism. All 4 wings can switch and Vuc has impressed me with his defensive positioning that makes up for his lack of foot speed and athleticism.

Lavine is going bonkers rn

Just got home. Good Lord! 39 in the 1st half? Two fewer points than Wilt had in the 1st half of his 100 point game. Jimmy Butler with the team record of 40 in a half?

25 straight Bulls points at one point too.

Guess his ankle is better.

i can't believe bd let trae young pick white apart that entire the game. we lose so many games with terrible lineups being left in way too long.

lauri is such a slug. we'll improve so much with him replaced.

That wasn't a MUST win, but a game they really needed to take. Atlanta's a good team, but are one of the above .500 teams that I think the Bulls can beat in a series (not that they would actually play in a 7-game). I was hoping after 3 straight Ws they would be able to continue that momentum.

Well, that was a bad loss too. Still good shape for the play-in thing if that's still happening, but here's hoping for either top 4 or back end of the lottery

i'm trying to still like the trade but it's really really hard. i don't see how we fix the defense in one offseason, and vuc and zach keep going cold down the stretches of games. assuming we don't move up in the lottery, we're already going to be giving up a pretty high 1st for vuc, and who knows what the 2023 pick will look like.

trading for vuc/theis/brown and then leaving the pg position alone is probably the biggest mistake so far this season. i'm sure they knew it was a half measure, but probably figured the roster would be good enough to get in the playoffs, and then we'd be able to fix the position in the offseason. and honestly, this roster IS good enough to be a playoff team in the east. they certainly shouldn't be playing like this.
