Week 8: Chicago BEARS vs. New Orleans Saints, 3:25 local time (FOX)

This is a coaching failure. Team is out of control.

Agreed. And the 5-1 start is going to make it difficult for the Bears FO to justify firing him. I mean there are a number of ways you can justify it but the passive behavior of Bears management in general makes it unlikely unless the Bears finish like 5-11 or 6-10

What makes a guy like Wims blow up like that? He doesn’t have the value as a player to get away with that. Could be a career Ender.

I know this is a Bears board, but the Saints are hardly impressive either. Michael Thomas makes such a difference on this team

There he goes again. Bears need to get momentum back and instead start the drive at the 10.

(Yes I realize a long kickoff return would have gotten momentum back)

I feel like if an impartial observer was watching this game closely they would think the Bears are terribly coached and undisciplined

Is it just me or did Montgomery have a chance to get the 1st on 2nd down and he just kind of walked out of bounds
Definitely looked like he did

Last week was like OK, we got run over on the field let’s move on.

This week is just beating ourselves. It’s harder to take. It’s there for you to win but you just give it away.

4th down he stares at one side of the field the entire time and throws a wildly inaccurate pass of his back foot.

When did we put Mitch back in?

this is as laboring and incompetent as any of the utter trash QBs we have trotted our the last few decades

Sucks that the Bears had a miraculous 5-1 start fearing multiple improbable comebacks when there are 2 really solid franchise caliber QBs available in the draft. Now we’re probably not even going to be bad enough to get our coach and GM fired. And possibly good enough that Nagy thinks he needs to trade draft stock again to improve next years team

Way too easy. It seems like they quit.

Nobody quit. It's just hard to play defense when you have to do so for 2/3 of the game on short fields and knowing you have to get a turnover and score to win.

And yet again we see an exhausted Bears defense start to cede late chunks of yards

Yep, we can put the problems squarely on the offense. What side of the ball is Nagy’s strong suit again?
