Chicago gets 10 days to prepare for the Packers, who host a mildly rejuvenated Washington team at home this weekend. It's December in Lambeau and Green Bay is probably going to be a fairly large favorite. Huge but, and I mean...

huge, it is a division game and you never know with those. The Bears are averaging 24 a game the past three weeks and probably need to hit that mark again if they want to beat the Packers, who have been scoring and will continue scoring against a banged up Bears defense. Chicago is tied into Mitchell through 2020 and he can still pull out a miracle and prove to be worth a new contract, but it will take doing things like beating Green Bay on the road in a must win game. As I said in the preseason, I have a lot of hope in Mitch, but no faith.

The Bears can win this game, and if they want to hold on to the slim playoff hopes, they have to pull off the upset.

Let's get drunk.

Had this in the Cowboy thread -

Getting Mitch on the move was obviously key to the game, it seems, for once, Nagy figured out how to put him in the best position to succeed. I would think the game plan should not change much vs. the Packers, their pass rush has improved but, their not so good everywhere else, very vulnerable. Bears get Hicks back do not how much he'll play nor what impact he's going have, at the very least, his presence should fire them up.

3.9 % wouldn't it take a few more than a six pack to get drunk? Seriously though is this brew any good? I've had other Red Hook brews and not been too impressed.

The way they are hitting their stride, injuries and all, makes those dumb losses (like OAK & LAC) exponentially more frustrating.

Don't run into that punter and make the kick and you're 9-4 right now with a lot of possibilities.

Agreed, to some extent the loss vs. the Eagles was also a dumb loss. Those dopes suck and the Bears made them look good, that was a very, very winnable game.

Bears last won in Lambeau in 1943.

Didn't they beat them in '85 and opened '08 by shutting them out?

Apparently Lambeau didn't actually exist in 1943... and the Bears/Packers tied in Green Bay that year. The actual last win in GB was 2015 which doesn't seem possible but I guess so.

You're thinking of 06, which was a much better year than 08.

And the legend of Devin Hester was born. And a bunch of people got free furniture. It was a good Sunday.

Was it 04 when a Rex Grossman led Terry Shea offense won in Lambeau and Mike Brown ran back a TD? The rest of that season might be my worst ever as a Bears fan.

Holy crap, how did I not realize that the Bears somehow won at Lambeau 4 years in a row? (2004-2007)

Since then they've won in 2013 and 2015

It's what pretty much guaranteed Lovie would get a lot of leeway, well, that and the Super Bowl appearance.

it's easy to forget that the bears owned favre for his last few years. especially while he was with green bay.

i can only hope we get to have the same satisfaction/slaying of demons of beating up on rodgers's carcass for a few years.
