The Cubs have been stuck on 82 wins for what feels like 82 days.

So in honor of that achievement, we've got some gems for you from the year the Cubs finished 73-89, falling short of the pythagorean record of 77-85, 1982:

If you couldn't stay around for number 1, it was Let's Get Physical, which features a beautiful woman going through the motions of a fake workout routine, something very similar to the Cubs effort of late.

1982 was the penultimate season of Lee Elia's tenure in Chicago, and was one year before his infamous rant. Jim Frey would replace him and lead the Cubs to the greatest season of a generation. I'm kind of wishing Joe Maddon would go on a rant similar to that, if not him then maybe Lester will.

It's rare for a disastrous season such as this to not have some sort of epic meltdown and I feel like we're still waiting. Then again, maybe it already happened and I just didn't pay any attention.

Sooooooooooooooo maybe the 2019 Cubs are killing the board, too?

Well now everything dies baby that's a fact. But maybe everything that dies someday comes back.

The 2019 Cubs are the last thing I want to talk about/pay attention to.

But as soon as FA hits, I'll snort me a huge pile of Cub Cocaine like I always do.

The Cubs have scored 2 runs in each of the first 2 games of this series. In their last series, the Cubs scored 2+ runs in literally half of the innings they batted (12 innings with 2+ runs, 24 total innings)
