All on Maddon. Darvish should never have come out. People love to talk about players not executing and the Bryzzo strikeouts last inning are a great example, but this game was doomed from the start with Zobrist and Contreras out and Almora leading off.

What did you want him to do? This team has had one injury after another. Even as important as every game is now, the Cubs can't afford to overextend Darvish and lose him for the rest of the season. It sucks, but they just have to try to keep guys in one piece to get through the season.

I would be stunned if he wasn’t on a pitch count.

Whatever. Brewers weren’t touching him and these games are too important. Maybe that’s just an old school mindset.

C’mon. What’s your thoughts on Brandon Morrow?

10 runs Thursday, 1 run Friday, 1 run through 7 innings today. Classic 2019 road Cubs.
Better than scoring 7 in game 1 and getting shut out in the final 2 like our series at Wrigley. Our inability to consistently hit their pitching is astounding. They are a very bad pitching staff and we just can't figure them out.
