Will Antonio Browns descent into madness be the best NFL storyline this year?

Yeah and the best XFL storyline next year.

Luck and AB on the same team or do they go to separate teams?

Brown signing in New England in 3....2...1

It seems obvious but he doesn’t seem to care about the football situation he’s in. He cares about money and getting enough targets. The whole reason he wanted out of Pittsburgh was they weren’t willing to give him the guaranteed money he wanted. Oakland did so he went there. I doubt Belichick hands him $30M guaranteed (if NE even has the cap space).

Belichick is the “wide receiver whisperer”, though, and turns talented (but head case) receivers into all pros.

And New England always seems to sign these guys for way lower than their public demands

antonio brown is already a 4x first team all pro

Sure, but he seems to be able to take the guys no one else wants to deal with and get them to focus on being a teammate rather than a selfish douche (which most star WR’a are by default)

Antonio Brown is on a whole different level of head case than Josh Gordon or Randy Moss. He’s a total train wreck. A perfect fit for the Cowboys.

Randy Moss was never a head case. Frustrated, sure.

Josh Gordon probably had the most personal issues. Brown is just a diva on tilt.

Brown signs with NE, of course he does.

Well I was wrong.

What are the odds this helmet stuff was pure BS? Like there’s a decent chance he never wanted to go to the Raiders but he knew Pittsburgh wouldn’t trade him somewhere he wanted to go (like NE). So he signs the big deal, makes a huge fuss out of the helmet and gets himself released so he can sign where he wants to.

I'm curious if there was collusion, given both parties, it would not surprise me.

This same horsefeathers happened a few years ago when New England needed a RB and suddenly LeGarrette Blount hated it in Pittsburgh and forced his way out. So why not do it again?

Browns looking an awful lot like the Bears (i.e. great defense, but can't get anything going on offense, and shooting themselves in the foot with a ton of penalties)

lol, never mind about the defense. This is a beat down

Just another year where Carolina is going to be a nonfactor but just good enough to keep making me mad into December and not get a good draft pick.
