How can they be this bad on the road in general, but its even more crazy when you look at the home record. We would be running away with the division just being .500 on the road.

I know, the line up includes mainly all the guys we were salivating over 2 years ago thinking of how much better each player will be as they gain PA’s - yet, they’ve regressed.

 

No approach at all at the plate. In 2016 a lot of these guys wore pitchers out. Not anymore.

Overall offense isn’t far off from 2016. 9.7% BB rate this year vs 10.4% then, 101 vs 106 wRC+ now vs then, .328 vs .333 wOBA now vs then.

 

And yet we are somehow languishing around the middle of the league in runs scored
