So that's the best pitching staff since the 2010ish Phillies right? Back when they had Halladay, Hamels, Lee, and Oswalt.

Verlander, Grienke, Cole, and Miley.

haha I remember when I was looking down on them thinking 'oh how cute the Astros think their rebuild was as good as ours'. At least we're tied in World Series for now.

If we go 3 deep, I think the Nats keep up. Scherzer,Strasburg and Corbin is pretty ridiculous.

Fascinating moves by the DIamondbacks. They give up Greinke and Jasrado Chisholm, a personal favorite that had stalled badly this year, and add a good arm in Zac Gallen, plus some interesting prospects. Honestly, I'm floored the Marlins gave up Gallen for just Jasrado Chisholm, considering the year Chisholm has had. The development of Perdomo lessened the significance of Chisholm. With the way Pavin Smith, a personal favorite, has badly faltered, Seth Beer certainly has a path to the bigs as the first baseman there. I think Bukauskus is a pen arm, but Martin looked intriguing. You factor in clearing money off the books, and it's really a fascinating few moves for the DIamondbacks.

I've been following Gallen for a bit and he's had an incredible season. He at least should be a solid back of the pen arm, possibly a mid rotation starter. Good deal for the Dbacks, agreed.

They just won the WS. I won't be shocked when they turn Aaron Sanchez into a CY Young winner either

I cant remember the last time the team that everyone declared had “just won the world series” at the trade deadline actually went on to win the world series, so at least theres that. But yeah i do agree, theyre the best team in baseball by a wide margin.

Cubs in 7 imo
