The Reds horsefeathering suck. They’re the same garbage team they’ve been for the last couple of years

Imagine how much worse they're going to be in the 2nd half after they trade everybody.

The Reds are a great example of how much national media hype(using that word loosely) amounts to 'I've heard of that guy, he must be good'. I know the Reds were working with a crappy starting point, but the enthusiasm over adding Gray, Roark, and the ghost of Zach Duke to a historically bad pitching staff feels a wee bit premature.

Technically, they also will have Alex Wood at some point. At least for the 10 starts he's healthy.

Good call, another great example of this phenomenon. 21 GS/121 IP per year for 3 years.

OK so 3.5 games out of 1st before we play our 5th game then.

edit: whoops Reds still have the bottom of the 9th to chalk up a run or two

I enjoyed seeing Bryce lay the smack down on his old team last night. The TRAITOR stuff was beyond hilar.

It's not like the Nationals' ridiculous lowball offer was some closely guarded secret. Fans are dumb.

Owners are winning/have won the labor propaganda battle, I think. "Greedy, spoiled players" is the prevailing attitude; owners are the risk-taking, swashbuckling entrepreneurs laying it all on the line to create jobs in this fever dream.

Weren’t we up like 5 games on the Brewers after taking 3 of 4 in Milwaukee the second weekend of the year last year? I don’t really care about standings at this point, just pointing out the obnoxious ways the Brewers are winning games.

No thats exactly it. Its just obnoxious and frustrating that the Brewers keep winning these 50-50 type games while the Cubs are losing them and digging a hole.

We were up 5 games on September 2 which, last time I checked, is much later in the season than April 3.

Acting like every bit of success they have is plumb-dumb luck is far more obnoxious to me.

I will be at the game Friday in Miller Park, if there’s any suggestions on some sort of hex or curse or spell I can put on the Brewers to end their nonsense I’m all ears if it’s reasonably legal to pull off.

The Cubs are 7-1 all time in games I attend there, and the lone loss was KB's first MLB dong. So take me with you.

I’ve seen two Heyrides in games I’ve gone to there. Which account for approximately 70% of his Dongs as a Cub. There’s some magic in me, we just gotta figure out how to properly use it.

Well I don’t know how much more I can do. Heyward hit another HR with me in attendance in Milwaukee. That’s 3 HRs I’ve seen in person from Heyward in like 6-7 games I’ve been to in Milwaukee since he’s been a Cub. I did my part. Sucky bunch of sucks just suck too much.

The Rays are really good at developing pitchers. Now they even have Glasnow throwing strikes.

Can we got back in time and hire every single person involved with their pitching coaching except for Hickey?

I think that trade is going to end up being really bad for the Pirates. I can see Glasnow being more dominant than Archer as soon as this season. Austin Meadows hasn't done much yet.

Still, that was a really weird trade.
