Okay, I'll add this on, a little less bold, but also a little more serious than my last one. Schwarber will have a wRC+ over 135, and a WAR above 4. His ISO will top .250 again. Both his strikeouts and walks are going to come down a couple % because he'll be a bit more aggressive at the plate. He'll end the season with a better WAR than Harper.

1.) Jason Heyward is nearly as good as Bryce Harper this season.

2.) Javy struggles out of the gate and tries way too hard to bring his season averages up, causing a prolonged slump. He ends up around 1.5 fWAR.

3.) Bryant rebounds and posts a near-MVP season.

4.) Cole Hamels posts an ERA over 4.

5.) Darvish is our best pitcher around the All-Star break, but gets tired and struggles down the stretch.

Trying to stick to bold:

Zobrist can’t say healthy. Bote leads team in 2B starts and puts up a .800 ops with 18 homers

Darvish wins 17 games with a sub 3 era

Bryant hits 40

Schwarber, Rizzo and Javy hit 30

Almora becomes strictly bench after Happ has a huge April/May

Contreras bounces back slightly but isn’t the offensive force people projected.

Heyward hits .280/.350/.430

Lester struggles and has a plus 4 ERA

Hamels starts hot but struggled in 2nd half.

Morrow is out by June.

Cubs waste good prospects on a mid season closer trade when they could have had a Free agent for nothing

Mekkes also comes in to save bullpen

im pissed at myself but im excited for this horsefeathers season like an idiot

The Cubs are underdogs again, which I hope results in them going nuts and winning 110 games

1) Last year I predicted that Javy would learn how to hit righties better and become a star. This year, he does a better job laying off pitches outside the zone (he gets to average - still not great) and takes another big step as a result.

Russell inevitably, unfortunately, returns to the team, and in his first AB he loses his grip on his bat and it goes flying into the stands for the bajillionth time. THIS time, however, it conks Tom Ricketts right on his gigantic coconut, and the veil between worlds is torn apart as we can't figure out who the hell to root for.

Come on, you know it's death to PTR and murder charges for Russell.

hopefully his bat travels all the way around the earth and then hits himself and he dies on the field
