Kris Bryant (hit a home run on 9/17 so he's fine)

Drew Smyly (RIP)

Brandon Morrow (RIP)

Yu Darvish

Schwarbs

Stropey (mostly RIP)

Sucks/blaming it on an injury

Addison Russell

Little of column A, little of column b

Jason Heyward (returned from injury to his prior pretty bad play on 9/18)

Fortunately healthy

Yeah right now even risking it

Unfortunately healthy

You know, for someone whose best quality is supposed to be keeping players loose, fresh, and healthy over the grind of a 6 month season, to the extent that everyone is willing to overlook his questionable/outright bad in game decisions....we've got a lot of players who don't look fresh, loose, or healthy right now.

Yeah, Joe really needs to have a bunch of animals from Lincoln Park Zoo dressed up as cartoon characters brought over in his dumb RV, and then allow them to devour a mime or something. Go for maximum Stupid Joe Maddon Wackiness.

Joe is known for keeping players healthy? How does a manager keep players healthy?

How is Joe at all to blame for anybody's health? He's done quite a bit to keep people fresh, with the possible exception of overworking a bullpen arm or two. He can't help it if dudes get banged up.

he can if he's overusing them (various bullpen arms hinted at above), or using them in bad situations (batting Almora against any pitcher who throws anything other then a FB), or insisting on using players that simply aren't good (Duensing). That doesn't help their energy levels or their physical health.

Hey TBS, how about we stop making new threads bud

Injury update threads are created with the express purpose of injuring our players

The only positive I saw from Strop is that he walked off. If he destroyed it he would have been on the ground. Look at Knebel’s I think from last year
