Cubs RD in second halves under Maddon

2015: +65

2016: +113

2017: +127

2018: -15 (in 18 games so far)

Sorry I’m digging the negative vibe today. Will go back to positivity tomorrow

I just really don't like when we struggle throughout a four game series against a really bad team in August. This reminded me of the Marlins series to open the season.

We are not playing good baseball during the period where we are supposed to surge because Joe keeps his guys fresh the first 4 months of the year. Sucks and hopefully it’s just a bad run of play

The worst part of losing the wildcard game will be all the awful “it should be best of three” takes.

I don’t think it’s even safe to assume we get there. The two top NL east and west teams are no joke.

maybe the Cubs twitter crowd will not be so obsessed with Rosario anymore... yeah right they had pitchforks out yesterday because Almora wasn't starting Edited by Brian

Just remember that this is us at our worst

Joe's approach to this game before it even started is like the Cubs have a horsefeathering 8-game lead in the division.

Yep, this bugged. I get the idea of resting guys, but come on, supposedly the 2nd half is when it's pedal to the metal.

It's always hilarious when Joe ends up having to use relievers he was trying so damn hard to avoid using in the first place because he's an obnoxious drunken dimwit.

Gee, it's almost like Randy Rosario horsefeathering stinks. Who could have possibly foreseen that?

dont worry he's not part of the super bullpen.

Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap; given up 10 runs to the Padres at home is something that a LOT of teams do.
