We’re gonna bullpen the horsefeathers out of games in the playoffs. Starters will be on short leashes.

 

Why do you goobers act like "we'll just bullpen it" is some trump card lmao. If the starter gives up 5 runs in three innings, it's not gonna make much of a difference how good our bullpen might be.

 

We have the best record in the NL. It's worked all season. Why won't it work in the playoffs?

 

I mean maybe it will. It’s just funny watching Lester give up rockets to the worst offense in baseball and people are like “horsefeathers yes the bullpen is so good”

Also, and I can't stress this enough, the rest of the Cubs are really good! We have the best offense in the NL, the best base running in the NL, the second-lowest bullpen ERA in the NL, quite possibly the best defense thanks to Galaxy Brain Stearns.

 

There's a reason we are good and have the best record, the best RD, and the best BaseRuns in the NL. Quit worrying so much about the damn rotation.

 

I'm way more fine with this than all the tortured takes about why the rotation isn't actually bad.
