Really sucks that there is also a Schwarber homophobic tweet going around. It is not a bad as what Hader said at all, more along the lines of using the term to mean something is bad, but shitty nonetheless

MLB is making him take sensitivity training per ESPN. Probably the only thing they can do at this point.

Hader’s said all the right things since this hit the news. If he’s smart or has smart people around him, he’ll do the sensitivity training with a smile on his face, come out saying that he learned a lot, apologize again for his past actions, and say he’s going to work to set a good example from now on. If he does that and goes on to be a solid citizen, he’ll have a perfectly fine career and all this will be forgotten.

As a relief pitcher for the Brewers it’s probably not like he blew any big endorsement deals or anything. So this probably won’t even hit him too hard in the pocket book.

He basically said he's still the same person. He is a moron and he most certainly not said "all the right things" regarding being a racist horsefeathers.

Sucks for sure but yeah that's not even in the same stratosphere as what Hader said. I am very embarrassed about how I used to call things "gay" when I was younger, so the young and stupid excuse would actually make sense. However, the thought "white power" never crossed my mind even once.

What was the schwarber tweet? :(

Tweeted at someone, “Well that’s some gay horsefeathers”

well was it really some gay horsefeathers?

Ha, no clue. We’d have to ask the Brewers fans out there who are tweeting out the screenshot.

Trout did something similar. A little different than I hate gay people.

And black people. And women.

If you hate women and also hate gay people, we call that self loathing.

Agent to assistant: “We just signed Giolito. Follow our normal procedure and scrub his social feeds.”

Assistant to agent: “Got it.”

20 minutes later...

Assistant to agent: “I can’t scrub it, sir. It’s. Just. Too. Adorable.”

When this...

... is only your second-worst article of the day:

https://fancredsports.com/articles/jon-heyman-josh-haders-tweets-repugnant-but-mlb

Heyman played this probably as poorly as you could without outright agreeing with Hader's comments. All he had to do was denounce the tweets and say he spoke too soon when he tweeted about Hader before the game. Instead he attacked people on twitter who brought up the tweet, then said Hader's been punished enough by being forced to attend sensitivity training and having his first all star game experienced ruined, that he was a "child" (a term he used several times) at 17 when he made the tweets, that his black teammates vouch for him (its a pretty shitty situation that they had microphones shoved in their face and asked for comment when they probably hadnt even had time to digest the news), etc. White privilege is real folks.

He calls the revealing of Hader's bigotry "an ugly attack." He's a horsefeathering disgrace. He's also been arguing nonstop with people on twitter and keeps repeating that Hader "is still childlike" and mentioning that "he's met him" as if that means anything. He looks horrible and his behavior is despicable.

I mean, he said "look at Hader's black friends" without a trace of irony. horsefeathers him

Yes I meant to mention that as well. It's astounding that he calls the people that uncoverd those tweets 'trolls', but the worst thing he can call Hader is 'childlike'.

Oh and then there's the part where he trys to interject himself into the narrative by speculating that his tweet might have caused the "trolls" to expose Hader.
