It's a little odd - I feel every time Javy puts the ball in play it's a small victory - yet, I do also feel a little sad when its only a single.

Do the Reds have like 10 grand slams in the past 30 games or something???

I think they said 9th slam of the year.

According to baseball almanac, 14 is the record for a season by the 2006 Indians and 2000 A's. NL Record is 12 by the 1997 Braves and 2000 Cards.

Nice, efficient inning from Jon. He can actually get through six pretty easily now.

well, damn.

i dont mind if Jon only goes 5 innings and we let like, rosario pitch 3 innings or whatever. who cares

Farrell, Rosario and Maples should hopefully be able to finish it off

these twins players are not real people. what is a 'Jake Cave'? there is no such person named "Mitch Garver'. these are the names of created video game characters in MLB games

Wonder what the record for consecutive double digit game is

6, by the 1929 New York Giants. 5 teams have done it in 5 straight games.

Happ’s been really good and doing some very promising things for a few weeks now. Probably a good thing we didn’t give up on a 22/23 year old top 10 pick a month in to the season.

his K% still hovers around 40%, which is a cause of concern. I'd be thrilled if he could continue to be a productive player with a K rate that high, but i'm skeptical. i'm fully confident he can bring it down though.

I just checked and his BABIP is literally .400, lmaoooo

He’s had it closer to 30% for a good chunk of time now and he still takes his walks and his contact rates are improving and when he is making contact it’s usually hard contact.
