If (when) we lose this game we’d be .500 vs .500+ teams this year if you are counting this as a loss vs .500+. That’s mostly, perfectly, fine to do. Clapp was talking about this on twitter last night. Astros were only 3 over vs .500+ last year, 16 Cubs were 6ish over, one of the even year Giants teams weren’t even .500 vs them, and another WS team recently was only 3ish over.

He found a new way to show us how truly slow he is by trying to go to 2B on a ball he hit hardish to shallow RCF and was thrown out by 10+ feet. Bryant, Heyward, and Happ with their speed or Javy with his sliding wizardry might get there on that ball but that’s about it on this team.

 

It was a nice piece of hitting though.
