FREE DA JERSEY - Week 15 Bears @ Lions, Saturday Afternoon for some reason 3:30 PM CT, NFL-N

Every team that doesn't play on Thursday would get 2 full weeks off.....the way they do now during BYE weeks.

32 teams. 2 teams per game. So you'd need 16 Thursday games to make every team have the same BYE length. But since you can't have BYES the first 2 weeks and the last handful are too late in the year for a bye, you'd have some teams that don't get scheduled on TNF. Those teams would still need a BYE.......where they'd be getting 2 weeks off, because they are not playing a Thursday game.

Well they only actually get 1 full week off, as they have a full week of practice following the bye. I don't see any reason to try and balance BYE length. I think you're overthinking it here. You have your bye week, and some of those teams exit the bye with a Sunday game, some exit with a Thursday game and then 10 days until your next game.

If you have a BYE in week 5, you play the Thursday of week 6, then the Sunday/Monday of week 7. Or, you have a bye week 5, play the Sunday/Monday of week 6 and Sunday/Monday of week 7.

So NBC will handle the production on this game?

I like that.

I'm guessing they are just broadcasting the NFL Network production as has been the case previously.

don't nbc and cbs switch off producing thursday night football/NFL Network broadcasts now?

(i.e. nbc doing that madden angle a few weeks ago on TNF)

Edit: You are right that makes sense.

Apparently, Shaheen (among others) is questionable for Saturday.

The way he's used, he was already questionable before any injury report.

Fox has to be trolling Bears fans. After a breakout game, he’s basically not being allowed to throw more than 10 yards downfield. Super conservative playcalling down 2 scores and nothing to play for

This is why i want him fired mid season

Yeah it’s Hub but he watches this stuff a lot closer than I do

seems like he was off on passes to the perimeter from the pocket

he's typically on the money when he's throwing between the hash marks/down the seams or towards the sideline on the run
