10/17 - NLCS Game 3 - dodgers (Darvish) @ World Champs (Prof. Hendricks) - 8:00

Posted (edited)

Times are dark the Cobs have returned, we haven't seen them since last playoff series and many points of the regular season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles think they have the Cubs right where they want him, even though they should be well aware they have no idea the beast they are stepping up against. Class in session, here comes the Professor.

The Cubs pretty much have to sweep the 3 games at Wrigley to win this series. Just frustrating that with any kind of offense its at least 1-1 heading back to Chicago. I think Edwards is right, before we know it this will be tied. Game 5 comes and they dong Kershaw to oblivion, then close it out in LA on Saturday.

What? No, they don’t have to sweep the three home games to win.

I'd say the next two games are pretty close to must wins. If we even it up through 4, we don't HAVE to beat Kershaw in game 5, but it would obviously help. Darvish is good, but not untouchable, and if Alex Wood had sucked any more in the second half, Maddon would have thrown him out there in the 9th inning last night.

I'm not sure if this offense can hit any of us throwing them beach balls right now, let alone Yu Darvish.

Game 2: Dodgers (Kershaw) 1, Cubs 0

Game 3: Dodgers (Hill) 6, Cubs 0

Guess what happened next

Yep, if only we still had Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell, Kris Bryant, etc.

I just read the articles after the Hill loss last year. Sounds familiar.

When we lost to the Mets, I felt like there was no chance. If the offense can do something we will make this interesting.

No technically they only have to win 2/3 at Wrigley but I don't see how they could win both game 6 and 7 on the road in LA. I know they did so in Cleveland last year but I think this Dodger team is better than that Cleveland team.

This isn't doing crap until KB pulls his head out of his ass long enough to actually make contact with a couple pitches. Not having him on base constantly is a huge problem along with Javy being completely lost right now.

With Kershaw going game 5, games 6 and 7 get a lot easier. We'll see how we handle Darvish tomorrow night, but him and Hill are beatable.

You don't see how they could win 2 games in a row in LA?

Really? You don't see how that could happen?

I don't believe you. I think you do see how that could happen. I think we all see how that could happen.
