Tough to win when you don't have Rizzo, Russell, Schwarber, Contreras, Heyward, etc in the lineup. I know Heyward sucks and Schwarber can't hit lefties but still, can't win too many games with Caratini and Rivera in place of Rizzo and Contreras.

Junky pitchers sometimes pitch well, sub .500 teams sometimes bet over .500 teams, pitchers better than "junky" pitchers can pitch bad, we are trending in the wrong direction until we aren't and over the last 2 months we are trending in the right direction

Junky pitchers sometimes pitch well or at least get lucky results, sub .500 teams sometimes beat over .500 teams, pitchers better than "junky" pitchers can pitch bad, we are trending in the wrong direction until we aren't and over the last 2 months we are trending in the right direction

Because Edwards is very good and hadn't really done anything wrong until the last hitter of the inning.

 

Even if it's "bad luck" Strop is a better option than Edwards if they're both rested. I saw lots of dickshot fastballs even if they weren't squared up and that's because he's got about 20 command. Sometimes results matter.
