Russ got his 5/205 deal, as the Lakers continue to watch all their future targets fall off the board. Hope OKC can keep George too now.

I like Russ and he’s amazing but if Lonzo is as good as they they think don’t know if he was a great fit there. Lebron, George, Jimmy, Boogie, etc all are better fits as FA additions, imo.

this may be true but it's still funny that lakers fans cling to this idea that FA's are dying to sign there when they've been missing on every legit target for years

good for russ and OKC though i hope they can keep their core together

They were run like a dumpster fire and as long as Kobe was there on the end of his career nobody really wanted to go there and have to deal with him and not winning. That’s changing now, as they are collecting good talent and are being run and coached a lot better. I’d be very shocked if they don’t end up with a premier FA in one of the next 2 years of FA classes.

So the Joel Embiid max extension is probably going to be a disaster for the Sixers, right? I hope it works out for them because he was really good when he was on the court but 5/148 for a guy who has played 31 games in 3 years doesn't seem smart.

I think “only” 3/58 or something like that is guaranteed.
