No way he resigns there right

guess we'll see if he turns out to be all talk or not when it comes down to the money

That is a fake account, but it doesn't change the fact that Ainge is sitting there in a pile of draft picks and passing up George and Butler, when either was his for the taking. Hell, he could have had both.

Twolves traded Rubio to the Jazz for a future 1st so they could sign Jeff Teague to a 3/57 deal? I understand if it was Lowry or even George Hill, but Jeff Teague?

teague is pretty good and that's not really a lot of money. he's also 3 years younger than teague and hill, and about as good as hill.

The East is going to be so horsefeathering bad next year, congrats to Lebron on another Finals appearance.

Jordan could never.......make the East finals 8 years in a row.

Mainly because he retired in his late prime and had actual competition in most years.

Pels give a max deal to Jru Holliday for 5/$126M. Seriously? I guess they are content with sneaking into the back end of the playoffs for 5 years.

I think Rubio's a better player than everyone listed here, except Lowry. And the difference between Rubio and Lowry isn't worth the money difference. I don't think Rubio's a bad fit. A pass first PG to give the ball to Wiggins, Butler and KAT. But I understand they really need the shooting from behind the arc. If that's the case though, I would have gone with George Hill (and his 38% career 3pt, with well over 40% the last 2 years) over Teague. I probably would have tried to find a stretch 4 and a pure wing shooter off the bench though and kept Rubio, who is better than people give him credit for and still only 26.....3 years younger than any other name they considered.

the underrated upside to the PG deal is even if he bolts after a year, we're out from under the 4/84 left on Oladipo's contract.

They've done such a bad job constructing a roster around Davis, pretty much as bad, or worse, as the Cavs the first time they had Lebron. I liked the Boogie trade if they would go the volume route and sign a bunch of shooters/defenders around them but this contract doesn't let them sign anyone meaningful.. So it's going to be Holiday, Davis, Boogie and a bunch of vet mins/scrap heap FA? Good luck.
