This is a trade for semantic purposes only, Paul signed with the Rockets originally then more as a favor to the Clippers to get something and Paul to make more money he signed with the Clippers on condition of a trade. So the fact the Clippers got anything is great in this scenario.

 

This is also a really weird pairing, CP3 and Harden both need the ball in their hands so much to do what makes them such good players.

might be a weird fit, but IMO when you can add a great player, you do it, regardless of fit

Well, he can get that 3 year deal for over 90 there and only there. Plus, if him and Russ(who can opt out next year) like playing with each other....Why not? They get more money there than both going to LA.....
