Da horsefeathers just happened. It went from saying "in play; run(s)" to Heyward grounding out and nobody advancing.

heyward hit a swinging bunt basically that they fielded and threw away

would've beaten the play anyway but they called him out for interference because he took a step that marginally crossed out of the baseline

I am getting really annoyed with Addison not being able to hold on to his bat hes like a horsefeathers kid

i'm more annoyed with him being terrible

Heywards last step was inside the 3 ft line, so they ruled him out. Bryant and Rizzo returned to second and first

So I guess Heyward next time should just stop and wait for Moore to determine where he would like to throw the ball before proceeding.

Interference on Heyward while running to first on a slow chopper up the first base line, fielded by the pitcher. It was a legit call, but he would have been safe interference or not which makes it kind of annoying.

Pretty annoying at bat all around, missed a 3 run homer by a few feet and then that happened.

it was a ticky tack call, but heyward definitely lunged to his left a little bit there for no apparent reason. maybe he was trying to adjust to hit the bag correctly or something, but it did kind of look intentional

That exact play happened recently -- can't remember if it was this year or last. I also don't remember if it ended up costing us or not. But I still am just as angry this time around.

Well if only 2 starters were going to be consistently good this year, I'd prefer those 2 to be Lester and Hendricks

I'd take a return of God-mode Jake

KB should be performing a lot better in high leverage situations. He's too good not to.

remember when he was flying around the bases throughout game 7
