i guess javy isn't the worst matchup against chapman

I remember one game just after Javys callup where he just missed taking Chapman deep to win it.

Yep. Right to the warning track.

Your level of insight fails to clear the low bar of basic game thread stupidity

I'm pretty sure this "CincyCubsFan" is anything but a Cub fan.

Actually what sucks about this the most is that I was really starting to regain confidence in Rondon. And not that 1 poor outing should erase several good ones, but man that was an awful inning and his confidence looked shaken after giving up the HR.

I'm about an 8 on the pissed off meter

I'm like a 2.

I have found it virtually impossible to get very mad about the Cubs this year.

His stuff still looks good. He just didn't control his pitches consistently enough. But that's been the theme for the team. A lot of walks. Never should have brought the leading run to the plate.

Being human makes it harder to remove emotion from the equation that determines pissed off levels. Even when my head is like, "Dude, you're the defending world champs and (almost) everything sucks right now and you're still in first place."

It's more like now that I've gone through a postseason run like that, it's hard for me to get all angsty about regular season games. It has numbed me to this stuff. I still enjoy the good stuff, but after the heightened emotions last year and how insanely on edge I was for that entire month of games, these games feel like a couple notches above ST games, which is something I've never felt in a regular season.
