I'm trying to figure out how I feel about that Rizzo bunt... I mean if they are going to give it to him, it makes sense to take it... who wouldn't want a free base... but it also takes away any chance of extra base hits...

I don't have a problem with it from time to time. Especially on a night like tonight (I know Brewers have hit HRs). But down 1 with less than 2 outs I don't mind it when runs should be hard to come by.

I don't have a problem with it from time to time. Especially on a night like tonight (I know Brewers have hit HRs). But down 1 with less than 2 outs I don't mind it when runs should be hard to come by.

 

I agree, that is a perfectly fine way to think about it, but at the same time, if anyone can tie the game with a single swing, Rizzo is one of them.

 

Also, if I were a Brewer's fan, I would be super happy with Rizzo laying down that bunt... which makes me pause.

Guys, let's go watch BCS instead of loss #4 of the 14-game skid.

 

i still haven't finished the first episode

 

i got through 20 min or so and realized i had no idea what the horsefeathers was going on so now i'm procrastinating rewatching the end of S2

almost everyone in the lineup can tie it up with one swing. i have no problem with rizzo taking that anytime it's given to him if he can get the bunt down successfully with consistency.
