These are always worth a laugh.

So far, the Royals have hit 10 HR. Of those, 7 are by just 2 players (Perez and Moustakas) and 9 (!) of the 10 have been solo homers. The only one that wasn't was a two-run homer by Hosmer.

Josh Donaldson is one of only 3 Blue Jays players with an OPS above .615. (the other two are Kendrys Morales and Darwin Barney, lol)

JT Realmuto currently leads the league in OPS.

10 homers, and they've scored the fewest runs in the league...21.

The Reds and Twins are first and second in the league in run differential, because that makes sense

Well the Reds have 6 relievers with a 0.00 ERA, and the pen hasn't given up a single HR yet (after giving up over 100 last year)

Yeah, well both teams still horsefeathering suck. The Reds won't leave next weekends series against us with a positive RD

I just saw Travis Wood has a 18.56 ERA and 3.188 WHIP through 5.1 innings....

Yikes.

He's already given up more runs than Wade Davis did in any season as a Royal.

FTFY. They had a fun little starting experiment his first year there that did not go well.

Starlin Castro is hitting .357 .400 .571 .971

On pace for another 200 hit season but he might finally have some power in the slash too. Hope he keeps it up. He's hitting the ball hard and to all fields, as he did when he was at his best here. Just let the man hack and he will find a lot of barrels.

Schwarber is a -1.3 in LF this season

Trout is a -1.1 in CF

Trout's actually been a mediocre to slightly below CF for a while now, but obviously the fact that he can be that while providing the offense he does makes him immensely valuable.

For his career he's at -0.2 UZR/150

The Angels are in second place, despite:

- After Trout (2.2), the highest bWAR on the team is .8 (career backup catcher Martin Maldonado)

- Other than Trout, only two players have an OPS above .680 (Yunel Escobar and 21 at bats from Luis Valbuena)

- Injuries to the bullpen have left Bud Norris (yup) as the team's closer with Yusmeiro Petit and Blake Parker (yup, that Blake Parker) as the top setup men.

Miguel Sano currently carries a 1.7% soft contact rate. No other hitter in baseball is under 7%, and Miguel Cabrera is the only hitter to post a season under 7% this decade.
