So the Cubs are coming off of a pretty tasty win that was accomplished sans dong. Woe betide the foolish team that faces them once they are unsheathed. Let's see them make that day today.

Jake is taking the mound so Lester can triumphantly parade in front of the masses at the Home Opener or something, and he's facing a guy who has pretty poopy numbers over 5 starts against the Cubs. Let's get freaky and see something like Heyward boxing the Brewers' ears with a couple of humongous dongs.

BANG ON.

Hijacking this thread for a second..does anyone know what time the ceremonies start tomorrow? Should I get there extra early or will it only be a short 5-10 minute thing? I can't really find much online about what is planned.

That pitch recognition from KB...

The 2-2 take was near impossible. Davies throws his best pitch, the one that he uses to get guys to swing at more than any other, and the one that he uses to get whiffs. He sets it up perfectly and places it perfectly. It was really just perfectly executed. And with two strikes... that's an auto swing. Fantastic work by KB.

I don't know if this is a thing, or if there's a way to calculate it, but when Addi makes contact he seems to put the barrel of the bat on the ball more so than other people. Or is it just me?

weird, i feel sorta the opposite. like he seems to hit a ton of pop ups and stuff, especially when he falls into his ruts.
