The best part was the announcer right after that was talking about how Cardinals have a great "culture". Here I'm thinking, "How horsefeathering horrible would it be to come to the locker room before every game and not have any music playing?"

Why do we need this Lester needs a babysitter narrative while we already have the he can't field or throw narrative?

 

It's stupid. Buster has brought it up a few times during pregame and during, now he's got the announcers talking about it.

 

He does the same thing on his podcast. When he thinks he has a good idea about something, he asks every guest about it for 3-4 days. He was all in on Gleyber Torres mqybe starting the season with the Yankees this year or at least getting called up early. He had Law on and Law told him no chance because Torres hasn't been above High-A and Olney still went on and on about it for a couple more days.
