As a non-Bulls fan, but someone who watches and follows a lot of NBA, the Bulls are one of the weirdest teams in the NBA. It wouldn't surprise me if they finish 3-5 in the East or 9-12

of course we hand the spurs their first road loss of the year

rondo with the quietest near (9 assists) triple double ever

Also there was something so cathartic about not seeing Bobby Portis

Nice to see Dougie back too

PS - Never in a million years would've thought I'd ever like Dwyane Wade at all, let alone this much

General NBA talk... Salaries are going to start getting huge. Also introduction of two way contracts for D League players.

Salaries are already huge for the non mega-stars (Lebron, Curry, Durant etc). The low-middle class guys cleaned up this past offseason.

A drop in the bucket to the continued raises that are coming.

Ok Bulls aren't good and aren't interesting. Do I believe in the "Wade is gonna bring the Superfriends here" theory or do I root for them to not make the playoffs so they can finally can garpax and make a real change?

Bulls should maybe fire everyone?

About 6 months too late.

Ok maybe not Dunn doesn't seem that good so maybe it's good we held onto Jimmy. Pax said we were getting younger and more athletic and then said mission accomplished but this team does not look more athletic than last years team.

It will be funny (and sad) if Pax sells the fans on "we can be competitive in playoffs while we rebuild" instead of a full tear down and that team he builds doesn't make the playoffs.

It boggles my mind that you can intentionally build a team that can't shoot threes in this era of basketball.

Time to bottom the horsefeathers out. Sucks, because I like having Wade. That said, they'll contend for a playoff spot and lather, rinse, repeat next year and so on. All we can hope for is a total housecleaning.

So once again it's Xmas Eve and the Bulls are bottoming out and the coach seems unable to get the most out of his players. Could it happen again? Probably not because the image conscious Bulls FO would not want the media to go on and on about a Bulls coaching change during one of the 2 national ABC games tomorrow but you have to admit this would be a decent time to make a coaching change if they were going to make one.

sad that it took that much but jimmy is a damn monster

40 points and 11 rebounds and basically single-handedly brought them back from down 7 with a few minutes left.

Hoiberg is reportedly on the hot seat. But how hot can it be with $15 million remaining on his contract? If Hoiberg goes, so should GarPax. Rebuild starting at the trading deadline.

It sucks. At this point, you might as well see if Wade can somehow recruit in the offseason. If not, tear it down completely.

Shitty spot for the entire org. I don't think Hoiberg is anything special, but I don't think anyone could do much with THIS roster. GarPax are more at fault. If Hoiberg goes, they need to, as well. Give the new GM the rest of the season to evaluate and be prepared to sell if Wade can't recruit, in the offseason.
