in my life i've gotten

the bulls dynasty

the blackhawks quasi-dynasty (including the riveting game 6 comeback)

the 2016 cubs comeback

there's really nothing left for me to experience

You weren’t alive for the 1985 Bears?

Never mind, I now realize that was nearly 40 years ago. horsefeathers, I am getting old.

i was born in 84 so i didn't get to experience that. plus i've only ever been a casual bears fan, i've never really been emotionally invested for whatever reason

pretty much, there's nowhere else to go after your absolute favorite team ends a 100+ year championship drought at the end of a 5-year plan to win a world series. it's like moving into a house after watching it being built every day. You can't top it.

it's like the hellraiser movies, you run out of things to experience so youre like, sure demons, chop my dick off and feed it to me, im kinda just sitting around anyway.

im old enough that i actually got to see dallas win multiple super bowls with an average white quarterback. And at least that quarterback was from oklahoma, a nice conservative state not like liberal michigan where cooper rush resides

I tried to explain to people that know me that the one Cubs World Series was better than the other 10 Chicago championships (Bears, Bulls x 6, Blackhawks x 3) I've witnessed combined.

The ‘94 NCAA BB title over Duke was my first time, and Cubs in 2016 was incredible, but the Saints SB win was easily my greatest sports fan moment. Specifically, that Tracy Porter INT in the SB was one of the happiest moments in my life, period.
