What is Taco Tuesday?

For centuries in San Diego, the combination of tacos with the 2nd day of the work week, Tuesday, seemed to be a predestined union. For starters, both the words start with the letter T. But also, throughout San Diego, many families are already eating tacos anyway, on any given day of the week in fact. So participation in Taco Tuesday events was a huge success with widespread adaption before it even began.

 

At Petco Park, Taco Tuesday means something special. It means:

Discounted tacos ($1 each)

Discount tickets

Baseball

Sunshine
