why hasn't ichiro started any of these games?

Some people have been suggesting the team wants him to get his 3,000th at home, which, i can sorta buy

 

He's also been a part time player all year anyway

You know what would be cool? If we did one of those things where a Cubs batted ball ends up over the fence in fair territory. I believe we have used an euphemism for a male appendage to describe this in the past but its been so long... if I'm not mistaken its been 7 games since we've done this.

Huh? You're not a major league manager so the onus is on you to prove through math that you're ridiculous rantings and ravings hold any water. You're not rent free anywhere at all, I just find this weird crusade to be a truly special thing to behold until you flame out and say something that gets you banned. It's going to happen. If you think Maddon is a terrible manager you should go watch some Cardinals games, but I suspect you probably do watch a ton of Cardinal games see Matheny work his magic and troll on a Cubs board as a form of therapy.

I believe the last one was Addison's grand slam in the 8th inning of the 3rd White Sox game. So 6 full games, and one half game today.

The sudden death of Miguel Montero, major league baseball player, does give me sads.

 

Its like he and David Ross just kind of exchanged bodies in the off-season.

i was just thinking "Javy has put together some rough at bats lately" good christ
