I wouldn't say I don't care, but we do have the depth to pick it up. The fact that even with 2 of our opening day starting OF and our 4th OF on the DL, putting together a surrender lineup would take more effort than a strong one speaks volumes.

Pena is easily the guy I'd love to see called up. But if Richard is DFA'd, I'd guess Concepción?

Barring a DL stint it pretty much has to be Richard getting DFA'd.

 

None of the LH relievers have been really callup-worthy, but Pena and Patton have both been great and neither have had much platoon split at Iowa. Since Patton is already on the 40 man and already had that momentary call up earlier, I'll guess it's him.

Probably Patton, since he's been the best and is on the 40-man. I like that. He's had some major league experience and has been good this year He's older, not really a prospect. So let's see if we have something there before moving on to those other guys. You have to assume Richard is gone. In which case, I don't have much to bitch about with the roster anymore.

Dex withdrew from the All Star Game. Will we see first half 2016 Dex when he returns...or the first half 2015 version? I fear the latter...
