Eh, they aren't horrible, confidence diminishing peripherals. Lack of Ks are concerning, but he's been tougher to hit (BABIP luck).

Not surprising. There's a DH till AA across the minors and even then, minor league affiliates of AL teams DH in AA and AAA. Rondon was an Indian throughout his minor league time.

I don't think there was a double switch possible for Joe to use if he wanted to. Two catchers in the bench, Coghlan and Almora were already burned and Ross was hitting 2nd in the inning anyway.
