EXST Cubs RBI leader Isaac Paredes (2015 IFA - Mexico - $800K bonus) started his second consecutive game at 3B (he also played there in the intrasquad game on Thursday). It's very likely that he will eventually move to 3B (one scout who has been following the EXST Cubs projects Paredes as a catcher!), so the process to move him from SS to 3B may already have started. Paredes (who just turned 17 in February) is a VERY slow runner, but he has plus-HR & XBH power, he doesn't strike out a lot for a power-hitter (10% K-rate), and he has soft hands and a strong arm at SS (committing only one error so far in 15 Cactus League EXST games).

Nothing much going on tonight...I'm running with a dead arm period for Kellogg, another bad outing with BBs and a HR. Others did stuff but it's May and none of this really matters. Actually scratch that - Underwood continues to confirm that he sucks.

Dead arm for Kellogg? Topping out around 75 or so?

Probably lol!

I actually admire your persistence with that guy. I thought he'd dominate the Midwest League myself. If the velo doesn't come around this year though, I'd go ahead and try him as a reliever-assuming that'd put him throwing 91-93 for an inning or so.

I'm really hoping that Underwood's struggles are more ring rust than anything.

On an unimportant note, they should probably bury that Alex Sanabia fellow back in the same hole from which they dug him out.

It is one of the more hilarious and harmless gifts from the internet, specifically Twitter IIRC. I fell in love specifically because usage frequently butchered 'though.'

but why capitalize it?
