Maybe we should just tell Heyward his new job is to foul off as many pitches as possible to drive up pitch counts and give the other guys a chance to see the pitcher's stuff. If it ends in a walk, even better. But a .000 batting average, with something like a .200 OBP and his defense and base running, plus seeing 50-some pitches in a game... that's got to be worth $180 million, right?
