because what's his face threw up the stop sign like he should have done Sunday for Heyward

you done lost your marbles, son

 

took two good throws to get him on a play that was close and the run would've won the game...worst case you end up with a runner in scoring position with your best hitter up and you literally only need a single run.

except it didn't need to be 2 great throws; he was out pretty easily. it was a bad, bad gamble when we could have had, worst case, Zobrist batting with the bases loaded and 1 out after they walked Rizzo. and it was Dusty so there's solid reason to believe they wouldn't have even walked Rizzo

Or, you hold him and have bases loaded (they would've walked Rizzo) with 1 out and a very hot hitter up in Zobrist.

 

 

It was a bad send, especially with the outfielders playing deep, and not that close.

I'm at the game behind third base. it was a good hold. Baez must have got a terrible jump. no idea what Russell was looking at

who the hell cares about the bases being loaded? the only run that matters is at 3rd.
