One of my favorite NSB posts ever was during the year Javy laid waste to AA and was universally regarded as a top 5 prospect. There was a discussion about trading for Giancarlo Stanton and someone said something like "you could put him in the middle of the Cubs order with KB and Javy. You'd have three Stantons and one of them is Stanton!"

Like I said, i hope Baez continues to Baez, but to my eye Rizzo didn't look too happy (especially not the one in Game 5) ntil it ended an an out. Wasn't Baez the one who mirrored a Russell throw from SS too last year? I'm sure Rizzo appreciattes Javy, but its not really the time to get cute , hence he can laugh when the out is made.

Man, seeing Javy's face in the post-game interview with the FS1 crew really hit me in the feels. He was so freaking happy. Everyone else seemed more what I would describe as excited or pumped-up. But Javy was full of joy. That smile he had on his face... fantastic. With everything he's gone through, both in baseball and with personal tragedies, I'm just so happy to see him experience that.
