i guess the one silver lining is that when you get hurt on april 7th, there are a lot of possible serious injuries that you can be back from in time for the postseason

 

hell, if it's a meniscus injury he could be back in weeks (granted, i know of it more as a basketball injury but with catching aspirations i'd imagine he'd rather have the repair attempted than the removal).
