I like how this is our "afterthought" top 10 prospects and it's still better than 75% of teams in baseball. It's so awesome.

I'm going DelaCruz and Edwards at this point. Giving DelaCruz the edge, because he throws strikes, and projects as a full repertoire rotation guy. Not many guys end up being TORP, but he's got the stuff/projection where if things work out he might be exactly that.

Edwards has a good shot to be an excellent 6th/7th inning guy, and those are super valuable as well.

Using the "which would I more regret trading away", I'm feeling less willing to give up a possible long-term rotation cornerstone than a wildish 6th/7th inning reliever.

I went De La Cruz, it was between him and Edwards. I know Edwards is closer and De La Cruz is further away but I think if De La Cruz reaches MLB his floor is something like Edwards as a relief pitcher and his ceiling is a 2/3 SP while the SP ship has sailed on Edwards. Edited by Cubswin11

De LA Cruz for me too. I'd have him higher than this in my personal top 10 and think he's going to be our biggest breakout guy this season.

I instinctively chose Edwards, then found the advocacy for DeLaCruz compelling, but ultimately left it with Edwards. I think he can be a very good 7th/8th inning guy in a year or two - with Strop in his 30s and approaching free agency. We seem to be in our most promising window *now,* and I place extra value on what can impact the major league team sooner - even before considering the lesser risk of more advanced prospects. But put me down for DLC next for sure, then probably EJM.

I just switched my vote to Edwards, to be a consensus guy and to help make it obvious that Edwards is going to win.

We could just declare Edwards the winner, DelaCruz #11, and move on to vote #12?

OK, maybe not, maybe Martinez is now too close to DelaCruz to do that this fast.
